In 2 days, July 21-22, 2022, the Trade Union and the Board of Directors (BOD) of Deo Ca Group (DCG) held a skills contest with the skills of drivers, machine drivers, technical workers and skilled workers. The contest aimed to create a healthy playground and spread the Group’s culture to all employees.
The contest was held at Cam Lam – Vinh Hao project site with the participation of 176 employees of the Group.
The competition content consisted of two parts, theory and practice. Theoretical part was to test professional knowledge and understanding about Group culture, propose solutions to improve work efficiency. Practical part was to test their expertise and skills in maintaining machinery. The prize structure included 3 first prizes, 6 second prizes and 9 3rd prizes in 3 fields: driver, machine driver and technical worker. The first prize will be worth 10 million VND and considered to increase the salary level, the second prize will be worth 5 million VND and considered to increase the salary level, the third prize is 3 million VND.
The contest created an exciting competition atmosphere, the contestants completed their part with very commendable scores. The jury rated the quality of the contestants in this exam quite high. The organizers selected 19 contestants with the highest scores to commend, award certificates of merit.
At the closing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huu Hung – Vice Chairman of the Board of Management said that “This is an opportunity to assess the actual level of human resources to adjust training programs in a more appropriate and effective direction”.
Mr Nguyen Xuan Tam, a dump truck driver in DCG scored 93.8/100 – the highest score in the competition, thanked the Trade Union and the BOD for creating a useful playing field for the employees. This is an opportunity for the employees to enhance their skills and understand more about the good culture of the Group.

In the coming time, the DCG Trade Union will periodically organize similar contests, expanding the scale of competitions in other regions.
