The complicated development of the Covid-19 epidemic has made many businesses stagnant. However, Deo Ca Traffic Infrestructure Investment Joint Stock Company (DII) actively trained nearly 100 employees of Hai Van Tunnel Transfer Operation Station Enterprise so that they can easily adapt to new work.

On May 9, 2021,the operation of the Enterprise temporarily suspended to ensure the Covid-19 prevention. Nearly 100 employees of the Enterprise were faced the risk of not having work to do. DII guided the Enterprise to promptly train the employees to easily adapt to new work.

The Enterprise divided all employees into different teams to do the work instead of outsourcing with high cost and difficulty in controlling Covid-19, inconcluding: Team (1) coordinating with Hai Van Tunnel Management & Operation Enterprise to dismount equipments in Hai Van 1 Tunnel, Team (2) supporting people to return to their hometown to avoid the Covid-19 through Thua Thien Hue province under the contract signed with the Department of Transport of this province; Team (3) transporting traffic safety products of the Mechanical Workshop and rearranging the premises of DII, Team (4) constructing the SC2.1 Package completing concrete cover of Hai Van Tunnel 1,… Since the transshipment was temporarily suspended 3 months ago, the employees have been regularly working. As a result, both income for employees has been ensured and labor costs have been reduced.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Hoa, a driver of the Enterprise, shared that: “when getting the news that the Enterprise was temporarily closed to prevent the Covid-19, my colleagues and I was very worried about the revenue of ourselves may not be guaranteed. However, due to the prompt response of the DII’s Management Board, we have continued to work and get paid. When our work changed, we were confused that how to do and handle the arising situations?… We, who are always responsible at work, have completed the tasks well assigned work.

While the epidemic has obstructed socio-economic development, ensuring revenue for the employees is a great effort of DII as well as Deo Ca Group.
