In the medium-term public investment plan for the 2021-2025 period, it is expected that the Deo Ca Tunnel Project will be refunded 1.180 billion VND from the State budget.
The Ministry of Transport (MOT) is expected to allocate about 3.468 billion VND of the State budget to support and refund capital to localities and businesses applied to deploy BOT projects according to the MOT’s commitment.
The National Assembly has just approved a resolution on the medium-term public investment plan for the 2021 – 2025 period with 2,87 million billion VND including 1,5 million billion VND of Central budget capital and 1,37 million billion VND of local budget capital. In this period, the MOT has been allocated over 304.104 billion VND of budget capital.
According to a source of the Transport Newspaper, the MOT has planned to allocate that amount to pay the outstanding debt for the construction of traffic projects, to pay under BT project contracts of in the period from 2021 to 2025, to complete 11 component projects of North – South Expressway in the East in the first phase, to complet 42 transitional traffic projects and to start building new projects, etc.
At the same time, the MOT has planned to allocate about 3.468 billion VND of the State budget to support and refund capital to localities and businesses applied to complete and put BOT projects into operation according to the MOT’s commitment.
Specifically, the MOT has planned to allocate 1.180 billion VND to support the Deo Ca Tunnel Project in the 2022 – 2025 plan according to the decision of the competent authority, 1.218 billion VND to support land clearance and resettlement of the Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway in the 2021 plan.
